Just Give Me 30 Seconds

30 Seconds of FAITH is pushing through the fear in order to grab a hold of GRACE.

Imagine, being at the gym and its leg day! For me, it’s not a day that I love, but it’s a day that I am thankful with gratitude for.

3 years ago, I could barely walk up or down stairs without being in extreme pain. Surgery looked so promising in the near future. The only thing that stopped me from going through with it was, I didn't have health insurance. Who knew that would be a blessing in disguise.

When I took my hands off the wheel and put them on top of the Lords, I found my personal trainer. He started working on my legs. I was hesitant because I didn't want to cause more damage, but I knew I couldn't keep going the way I was, so I let my trainer do his job and not mine. I knew I would need someone who held me accountable. Because of the pain, I would have never done this on my own. I would have never voluntarily pressed in the aching torture of feeling my knees pressing forward and backwards. I would have never endured the burn of bending and extending. I would have never put weights on top of the weak to feel helpless and powerless. But I did. Week after week, month after month, and even today, I get the questions of why?

For 30 seconds, I chose to trust in faith that I will be able to run again, that I will be able to climb mountains and I will be able to jump ahead and land with confidence. For 30 seconds I blocked out fear with holding on to faith. The faith that I will be strong, I will be great and I will be powerful, gave me the ability to endure. I could endure because I relied on faith. And when I held on tight, and trusted in the process, I discovered that my hands were now resting on GRACE.

Pushing through the fear for 30 seconds, builds your self-identity and gives you a stronger mindset.

It gives you the opportunity to feel GRACE.

"Gratitude changes your attitude, which will elevate your altitude". (Steve Harvey) The way we think about our self-worth and our purpose, strengthens our goals, so that we can accomplish our mission. -higher achievements, greater blessings, more opportunities. Pushing through 30 seconds, opens us up for more why.

Ephesians 2:8-9 - "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast".

Grace is what we can reach out and touch, when we "go through" fear using FAITH. The blessing from touching GRACE is now, no surgery, stronger legs, I can leg press 700lbs! Running stairs, running my first 5k and being able to "JUMP" into my Idenity Brand, My Why!
